Kashan House
Kashan Coutry House is a luxury house on a private estate, beautifully situated on an elevated site in the scenic Magaliesberg valley near Hekpoort. It has superb views of the magnificent mountain range, cliffs and bush surroundings of the protected Magaliesberg Natural Area
It is an exclusive and intimate guest lodge with understated, elegant interiors. This unique lodge, an hour’s drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, falls within a world heritage site. Guests have access to a kilometer of the magnificent mountain range on the estate, for walks and hiking.
The entire estate is situated within the proclaimed Magaliesberg Natural Area. It is full of natural bush vegetation, including thousands of wild protea trees, and has extensive natural game including bushbuck, nyala, mountain reedbuck, baboons, monkeys and leopard.
Birdlife is extensive. There are frequent sightings of eagles and vultures from a nearby cliff colony. Jackal and hyena cries, baboon barks and sounds of the surrounding wildlife are prolific.
There is secure, undercover parking and guests are transported up to Kashan Country House in a luxury 4x4 vehicle.
